Pregnancy and postpartum

During pregnancy a lot changes in your body, sometimes resulting in pregnancy complaints. That is annoying, but fortunately there often are ways to reduce these symptons. If you prefer not to use medication, acupuncture is a safe alternative for you and your baby.

Towards the end of your pregnancy, acupuncture is a nice, relaxing way to prepare for your delivery. Together we can work to prepare your body for the birth of your baby. These treatments are called “pre birth” treatments, and can be scheduled from week 36.

If your baby is in a breech presentation, moxa therapy can be scheduled from week 33. >>Read more about this here<<

If it takes a long time before labor starts, it is possible to use acupuncture at >40 weeks of pregnancy as an extra stimulus to start labor naturally.

Besides the acupuncture treatment, you will also receive practical tips that you can work with at home. Sometimes acupuncture alone is not enough and I give you personal herbal advice to support the acupuncture treatment.
