Children respond surprisingly well to acupuncture. In most children, treatment with Shonishin is sufficient. Shonishin is a technique from Japanese acupuncture where no needles are used, instead small instruments are used to massage. I usually get the reaction from children they like it and sometimes it tickles a little.
Shonishin is a part of Japanese acupuncture. It is already an ancient method that originated about 350 years ago in Japan. Since children often cannot sit still for half an hour, this is a pleasant method. During the treatment, they may also sit, or sit on mom, dad or another educator’s lap. Children are much more sensitive and react faster to stimuli, and therefore also to a treatment.
